No. The 50% deposit is non-refundable because it holds your room, blocks off staff time, and prevents another artist or creator from booking that same slot. Your deposit is applied toward your total balance. It is not an extra fee.
Once your time is reserved, MBC StudioLand turns away other bookings for that room and time block. The deposit protects the studio, the engineer, and the schedule.
Reschedules require at least 48 hours’ notice and are subject to availability. Same-day reschedules are not available. No-shows lose their deposit.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your session will result in loss of the deposit. This protects the studio, staff, and the time block held for you.
Your session starts at the time you booked, not when you arrive. Late arrivals do not extend the session unless extra time is available and paid for.
Yes. The remaining balance must be paid before the session begins. No recording, shooting, setup, or access starts until the balance is complete.
A tracking engineer is the person who records your vocals or instruments during the session. Their job is to make sure your sound is captured clearly, levels are right, takes are recorded properly, and the session runs smoothly. A tracking engineer is not the same as a mixing engineer, producer, vocal coach, or songwriter unless that service is specifically added.
Basic session recording is included when you book with an engineer, but full mixing and mastering are separate services unless stated in your package.
Yes, but this must be approved before your booking. If you bring your own engineer, they are responsible for operating respectfully inside the room and following all studio rules. The room rate stays the same whether or not you use an MBC engineer.
Yes, within reason. MBC StudioLand is a creative space, but volume must stay at a safe and professional level. Staff may lower volume if needed to protect the equipment, rooms, and guest experience.
Yes. Session files, rough bounces, or exports can be provided after the session. File delivery may depend on the engineer, session type, and whether the full balance has been paid.
Yes. Please arrive with your beat, lyrics, reference tracks, and any creative direction ready. The more prepared you are, the more value you get from your booked time.
Yes. If you need your full session files, please let your engineer know early in the session so there is enough time to prepare and transfer everything properly.
Please bring a compatible hard drive or storage device to your session. Files are transferred directly, so make sure your device has enough space and works with our equipment.
File preparation and transfer may use the final 15 minutes of your booked session time. Please plan accordingly so there is time to record, prepare, and transfer your files.
If file preparation or transfer extends beyond your booked session, additional fees may apply for the extra time used.
We do not guarantee indefinite free storage of your session files. Please bring your own storage device and transfer your files before you leave to make sure you have everything you need.
Yes, but each room has a strict guest limit. These limits are enforced for safety, comfort, parking, and the quality of the experience.
Raven Room: up to 6 people and 2 cars. Grizzly Room: up to 6 people and 2 cars. Miami Vice Room: up to 6 people and 2 cars. Porsche Room: up to 8 people and 3 cars. Seahawk Room: up to 12 people and 4 cars.
No. Additional people are not permitted and may be turned around at the door. Please do not invite extra people beyond the room limit.
No. Each booking has a set car limit. Extra vehicles may be asked to leave or park off-site if available. Car limits are enforced to avoid parking issues and protect the property experience.
Anyone over the approved guest limit may be denied entry. The booking will not be extended, discounted, or refunded because extra guests were not allowed in.
No. The guest limit applies to the total people connected to your booking, not just the number of people inside the room at one time.
No. All guests must remain inside the approved room or booking area for the duration of the session. Roaming through hallways or other rooms is not permitted.
No. Pets are not permitted inside MBC StudioLand at any time.
Extra guests or vehicles that were not approved in advance may be denied entry or subject to an approved penalty fee.
Yes. MBC StudioLand can be booked for music videos, photo shoots, podcasts, interviews, social media content, brand shoots, and creative sessions.
No. Content space rental gives you access to the room or area for approved content use. Recording, engineering, lighting support, filming, editing, or creative direction may require an add-on
Yes, but your crew counts toward your guest limit. Large crews must be approved before the booking.
Only with approval from MBC staff. Anything moved must be returned to its original place before the session ends. Damage or excessive cleanup may result in additional charges.
Outdoor access depends on the booking type, weather, schedule, and staff approval. Please confirm before assuming outdoor areas are included.
The following are not allowed unless approved in writing: weapons, fighting or threats, property damage, standing on furniture, locking doors, adjusting thermostats, moving equipment without approval, blocking driveways or neighbor access, public intoxication, selling drugs or alcohol, disrespecting staff or engineers, and leaving trash, food, or personal items behind. Serious violations may result in immediate termination of the session without a refund.
Alcohol requires prior approval before your booking. Excessive intoxication or unsafe behavior may result in the session being ended early. Guests must follow all local laws and MBC StudioLand rules.
Smoking is only allowed in approved areas. No smoking near equipment, inside restricted rooms, or anywhere staff says it is not permitted.
Yes, food is allowed depending on the room and booking type. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. Spills, stains, trash, or damage may result in additional charges.
Alcohol requires prior approval before your booking. Excessive intoxication or unsafe behavior may result in the session being ended early. Guests must follow all local laws and MBC StudioLand rules.
Children may be allowed with prior approval and must be supervised at all times. Children count toward your total guest limit.
The person who books the session is 100% responsible for all guests, including their behavior, any damage, cleanup, parking, and rule violations.
